Pvt. Jessica Lynch testifies that after her April 23, 2003, capture in Iraq, the Pentagon told "elaborate lies" and created "the story of the little girl Rambo from hills of West Virginia who went down fighting. Very calmly, composed, Lynch emphasizes that she is "not political." However, she says, "I'm still confused why they chose to lie and make me a legend when those in my unit who died around me were truly legendary."
No mention yet of Gen. John Abizaid, the former Central Command chief, who the Tillman family say may have played a key role in coordinating a coverup with Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld and with the White House.
gee i wonder if bush's "tinkertoy" boy genius had anything to do with this...dooh! he's unavailable, shooting attorney-friends in tejas, loaded with impunity!
